When I was younger I had acting classes and performed at festivals and competitions. I took the LAMDA exams including my Gold Medal. I was with Bristol Youth Theatre and Bristol Old Vic before training at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
I now do a mix of theatre and film. I was in 'The Mousetrap' on the West End and have had films go to Cannes Film Festival. I play instruments, sing & have a gold medal in stage combat; all of which I find very useful! I love the variety of styles and characters I get to play but I have a particular forte for Shakespeare. I am very interested in language and text and how this unlocks a character.
I direct and run workshops for Stagecoach, Abdabs, RMO Productions and in schools. I work my classes around my career as an actress which means I insure that what I am passing on is current and applicable to the business today. Acting teaches you to be an imaginative, confident, disciplined, fun, articulate and resourceful individual. It helps build a sense of presence both on and off the stage and can be hugely liberating for any individual.
