I graduated in Acting from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2002 and now, as well as being a coach, I work in theatre, film and tv.
I set up Act1to1 in 2010 and quickly gained clients not only looking for a coach in acting but also in life and confidence skills. My training and experience has allowed me to develop programmes that seem to work really well for motivating people and encouraging change. The skill set you gain as an actor is a skill set for life and wonderfully liberating for people to learn whether they are actors or not. I now coach individuals and groups in an ever growing range of work, which I am hugely grateful for. I also direct and run workshops for youth theatres and schools.
I work my classes as a coach around my career as an actress which means I insure that what I am passing on is current and applicable to the business today. As an actress I have been lucky enough to work with some fantastic companies, including ITV, BBC, and on the West End
Acting teaches you to be an imaginative, confident, disciplined, fun, articulate and resourceful individual. It helps build a sense of presence both on and off the stage and can be hugely liberating for any individual.
